Wednesday, January 18, 2023 –Amani National Congress ANC Party has released a statement on the claimed tiff between Chief Cabinet Minister Musalia Mudavadi and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Deputy Party leader ANC, Ms Margaret Ntongai, for the first time, has addressed the matter on media saying this was a creation of both the media and some politicians who want to see William Ruto’s government crumble down like previous regimes.

One Kenya Alliance leaders in a meeting.

“Kenyans should stop those petty politics, especially some branches we can see that they are trying to bring some animosity between the two leaders. That should stop.

“Let us give the ruling government ample time to work for Kenyans, those two are friends and that I know,” the ANC Deputy Party Leader added.

She made it clear that both the Deputy President and Chief Cabinet Minister had specific roles defined for them by their boss and, therefore, it was not going to be easy to find them fighting over any role.

Ms Ntongai added that both Mudavadi and DP Gachagua were in good office terms and will not be exchanging words in bid to outdo each other as it is being fueled by their detractors.

“The Deputy President and the Prime Cabinet Secretary cannot engage in any kind of war because they want the government to succeed in its agenda.

“The president gave them the mandate to work for the common mwananchi and support his leadership,” she clarified.

She went ahead to update that Mudavadi is nolonger actively involved in the running ANC Party affairs as was before since he is now fully in the executive.
