Just minutes after casting his vote alongside his wife Barbara at Magere Freedom Square Polling Station today Thursday January 14, Wine explained that they had done all that they can to monitor and know the right results of the polls.
He also added that Museveni and his people wanted him out of the race by killing so many of his supporters and aides but that did not change his political stand.
“We all saw the efforts to block me from campaigning and reaching out to the people but here we are, and we are going to win. Whether Byabakama announces us as winners or not, that’s his business,” Bob Wine stated.
With wife Barbara Kyagulanyi they addressed the press conference at their home where they also alleged massive poll irregularities and harassment as the polls opened today.
Museveni on his part, just like the rest of the past elections, has pronounced his readiness to hand over power if he is beaten fairly.
