Kenyans are still reeling from shock following NTVs investigative piece that unearthed the multimillion graft that saw tender-prenuers shamelessly pocket Covid-19 funds.

Journalist Dennis Okari on Sunday August 16th delved deep into the saga that had been concealed from the public and which many Kenyans never imagined off.

The journalist, in what turned out to be a conduit for top government officials to loot billions from the donated Covid cash, exposed the rot which even the Minister himself Mutahi Kagwe was silent on.

It was revealed that in the high tech con job network occurring at KEMSA and the Ministry of Health MOH, close to sh 40 billion have been looted in the guise of purchasing Covid -19 gears and equipment.

Homenews.co.ke has picked the top three briefcase entities that have greatly benefited from the loot through dubious tenders.

At the top of the list is Kiling Limited which was registered in January 22 by a young and less known Nairobi lawyer Minyow Onyango on behalf of a Jubilee top leader. Its directors include Zhu Jinping and Gatei Gachoka. This company which has no office anywhere in the republic of Kenya  made away with  a whopping sh 4 billion from the purported supply of personal protective equipment at sh 9000 each instead of the affordable market price of sh 5600 per piece.

Shop N Buy which was registered in February 14 and owned by James Chelulei is another one. The company reportedly made away with sh 970 million from the purported supply of 100,000 KN95 face masks at sh 700 per piece and 100,000 PPEs at sh 900 each piece.

The third company, Medlife Buiological Limited, a company owned by Kenyan Asians Ranjan Mishra and Parlavi Mishra, made sh 230 million by supplying 200,000 KN95 masks and 100,000 disposable masks.

In the shocking expose by Okari, it was reported that most of these companies ran to register their names at the registrar shortly before the first Covid-19 case was reported in the country. This obviously meant they were aiming to make money from this dirty business under dealings.
