Saturday, April 29, 2023 -United Democratic Alliance UDA Party Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has deleted a tweet in which he had hinted at plans to assassinate opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The eyebrow-raising tweet had indicated that the ruling regime is only left with one more option and which is to annihilate the former prime minister.

Kuria added that this assassination exercise could take place any time at night when the opposition takes back on the streets in the next round of their scheduled anti-Ruto protests.
The controversial Trade and Industrialisation CS made the post in both English and Swahili before deleting it. Luckily quick Kenyans had already taken its screen-grab to share among.
“Kutatokea mtu mmoja kwa hizi maandamano angry about disrupted livelihoods halafu. Lee Harvey Oswald,” read the revelation tweet.
And reacting on the post, Azimio elected Member of County Assembly MCA Robert Alai wondered why the regime had resorted to threats and selling fear.
“How the desperate always play with the idea of killing @RailaOdinga because they have no other idea to counter him. When the stupid have nothing to counter your message, your death is their only option,” he said.
Kuria’s sentiments corroborated those of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who recently threatened to deal with Odinga, once and for all.
And yesterday Friday April 28 while addressing in Bomet County, a visibly angry President William Ruto also said he will be stopping demonstrations soon.

He, however, did not expound on how he was going to execute this plan.
Their remarks coming at the time Raila complained of live bullets directly shot at his car during the first round of their demos.
