Having finally called it quits from K24 Tv Station, Anne Kiguta woes seems to have been caused by one powerful politician in Jubilee Party.
Highly placed sources from the media house have whispered to this desk that Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe is the man who allegedly marked Kiguta as a wanted person following her Punchline segment that she used to host different political heavyweights.

Kiguta who started her powerful political show dubbed the Punchline in July 2019, secretly penned a resignation letter on November 21st before making it public last Sunday.
“It is with regret that today I announce that I will not be returning to the program. Owing to a fundamental disagreement on the editorial processes and direction the show was being forced to take, I suspended my services as an independent contractor to the show on 21st November 2020,” Ms. Kiguta wrote.
“My decision was guided by the Code of Conduct contained in the Media Council of Kenya Act which guides all journalists practising in the republic of Kenya. As a result. I can no longer in good conscience continue to be a part of Punchline.” Kiguta added.
It all started when she invited Jubilee’s rival camp on the show what the management thought was not going to be taken lightly by the station owners.
Impeccable sources further whispered to Homenews.co.ke that Kiguta’s decision to invite MP Ndindi Nyoro on her show made things even worse after the interview was canceled by the management against her wishes.
On the fateful day, she went live on Tv to fire salvos at her management saying their move was not fair and she would ‘revisit’.
She stated clearly that her show with MP Nyoro had been interfered with by her management which had decided to cancel it without even bothering to consult her.
Now, though still unsubstantiated facts, Murathe is the man calling shots at the station and who could have finally frustrated Kiguta out of her job.
Though we couldn’t find him, Murathe will be given a right of reply on this claims.
