Thursday, May 11, 2023 –Cabinet Secretary for Defense CS Adan Duale has mentioned Kalonzo Musyoka as a politician who is always waiting for opportunities to climb up.

In his detailed new book ‘Titled for The Record’, Mr. Duale accuses Musyoka of fueling the International Criminal Court ICC case that was facing both Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto so that to get a free ticket for presidency in 2013.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka addressing supporters today

“Served the presidency on a silver platter, in exchange for a supportive Government that would aid Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto wade through the Hague accusations.

“Kalonzo Musyoka, in his superiority, felt the duo were convicts-in-waiting. He had passed a 10-year jail term for both. A period long enough for him to serve his two terms as president,” he state in the book.

Duale also confirmed that he has not invited former president Uhuru Kenyatta to the Thursday May 11 book launch because of his latest conduct.

“I didn’t invite Uhuru Kenyatta to my book launch, after I saw how he was behaving at the Jubilee offices, I can’t invite him, he can disrupt my function. I told him I am going to deliver this book to him,” he told his host on JKL show, Jeff Koinange.

The State official also told Jeff that Raila’s demonstrations have been a way to sneak ‘Baba’ into the government of the day.

“My only disappointment with him is, whenever the ‘Handshake’ table is set, he is quick to forget the people who stood with him. We saw it when he met Uhuru without the knowledge of his troops,” Duale claimed on the show.

In one of the chapters in the Book, he advises those privileged to take power that it comes and goes away when its time is over; in reference to Uhuru Kenyatta and his allies, today.

“I have witnessed the transient nature of power and privilege. I have been alive to see the untouchables tumble and fall. It is a constant reminder that, even the live wire goes cold,” the chapter reads.

CS  Duale also revealed that part of that book was written by the head of State William Ruto; what he terms as an honour having him write a Foreword for his book.

He further disclosed that Ruto had assured him that he(Ruto) will come up with a political book too detailing his tumultuous  journey in Kenyan politics.
