Sunday, January 31, 2021 -Kenya’s politicians are very cunning persons. It is hard to tell which politician is different from the other. The line in between is too thin.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and the Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga are the major political figures calling shots in the country. They have worked together for long and they understand each other.
Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Amani National Congress Party boss Musalia Mudavadi are in that category but not as strong as the first three.

Now every time there is an election in Kenya their names must feature. Cracks also develop among them. Out of the rest, it has been Mr. Odinga who has been suffering a lot sometime his votes stolen and because the power in this country just like any other African country is put where the incumbent wants it to be so was Odinga’s fate severally sealed in the boardroom. In fact in 2018 when he was pushed to the edge, he had to walk to Uhuru Park to satisfy his huge number of supporters through a mock swearing in ceremony that left him with the title “the Peoples’ President”.
Uhuru and Ruto were controlling where power should be and because they were the incumbent at that time, they were easily declared the winners. Whether they won or not the jury is still out because the IEBC servers were never made public for scrutiny in accordance with the historic David Maraga’s Supreme Court ruling.
Come 2022, and now politics are shifting. It is hard to tell where DP Ruto really belongs but apparently he could be headed to the world of loneliness. He is arguably the smartest, crude and prolific politician who no one can easily brush off but significantly missing in him is patience. He has done so many grave mistakes that seems to be costing him his 2022 political ambitions.

First thing first, Ruto pulled what many would call a Lucifer stunt. Just like the Devil which was God’s second in command became too greedy for the throne, wielded too much power and became influential to a staggering level that God had to quickly interject, so is Ruto. In fact, Lucifer in the Holy Bible managed to convince Legion of Angels to revolt against God; little did he know that he was cooking his own goose.
Anyone who has a senior above him must learn to practice the popular Law of Power which states that never outshine your boss. This means even if your boss sends you to do something as simple as ABCD, make sure you behave like you are still coming back to consult him afew more times. Just pretend to be a greenhorn however much refined you are and life will be so smooth. Ruto never found this advice good for him.
It does not then necessarily mean he is done. Ruto who now has only one narrow way left ahead of him can only capitalize on his political clout, strength and financial muscle to face off with his rivals head-on so that whatever the outcome, he will have served them a Notice.
