Wednesday, December 7, 2022 –President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, was on the receiving end after she attempted to address how she struggled to survive at Daystar University in Nairobi.
Addressing youth somewhere at an unconfirmed institution where she was trying to inspire them on building their early business careers, the first daughter narrated how she hustled at the campus selling smokies and kachumbari to make a living.
Popular social media enthusiast, Pauline Njoroge, shared the video in which the President’s daughter was making the claim that did not go well with the audience.
“Started a business at Daystar University na hiyo ndiyo business ilikuwa inauza sana,” she recounted before the audience broke into a heavy laughter.
On social media, commenters blasted her for continuing with the lies which most politicians are used to tell so that to win elections in campaigns.
“No need for DNA.. Lies runs in the family,” Nyambai noted.
Other users in the comments section observed that she was already campaigning for 2027 seat which she is yet to make public.
Charlene has never rested since the day her father won the presidency. She has been moving around the country meeting governors, MPs, students and members of the clergy; a mission which no one can explain the intentions.
Wueh! Even our Charlene has a grass to grace story. Kweli form ni bottom-up… pic.twitter.com/998ubV2aMA
