Thursday, December 1, 2022 –-Government now reports that in 24 hours, Kenyans had borrowed and repaid upto the tune of sh 7.7 million Hustlers loan.
As on Thursday December 1, the government claimed that Kenyans had already borrowed upto sh 413 million by 8:30 PM.
It is also reported that the Hustlers Fund platform had hit a record 1.6 million registrations with borrowers now at 683,000 by Thursday December 1.
Current Cooperatives and MSMEs Cabinet Secretary, Simon Chelugui, early today Thursday morning noted that sh 408 million had been borrowed from the facility, only hours after it was launched by the President.
Every second, the kitty was responding to atleast 190 transactions per second TPS down from a high of 500 on Wednesday.
Under the scheme, 1.14 million persons on Wednesday had successfully registered to the plan that seeks to empower those who had been marginalized by both local and international loaning institutions.

The loan is to be accessed via USSD code *254# with offers starting from sh 500 upto a maximum facility of sh 50,000 per beneficiary.
