Thursday, April 20, 2023 –Andrew Kibe has weighed in on the Miss Trudy airport drama that caught the attention of the country on Wednesday April 19.
Following the drama, the young vlogger received heavy criticism from Kenyans after she was stopped by Mombasa airport security team while she was busy filming content within the restricted areas.
Trudy ended up causing huge drama at the airport claiming that she was being harassed in her own country; what many social media users read as ignorant.
“Guys, we’re being harassed at the airport, these guys actually want to arrest us because we are filming,” an angered Trudy says. “No, this is getting out of control, this is too much. Infact, they went and brought the police to arrest me because I’m creating content.
“This is Kenya! I’m just creating content. I’m leaving Mombasa, I’m going back to Nairobi, someone stops me at the entrance, starts harassing me telling me to stop creating content! I’m just tired!” Trudy continued to rant in the now-viral clip.
Hours later, while reacting to the development, former Kiss100 FM presenter Andrew Kibe popularly known as Kifee noted that Miss Trudy was herself to blame for taking videos at restricted airport zones with warning notices written all over.
He, however, also reminded her that her skin colour was her greatest undoing. That could she be a white lady landing from United States, she could have been given all the latitude to record anything anywhere at the airport.
But for blacks, the skin colour is a betrayer in the first place and this is what every black man or woman has to put up with.
“You are just recording in a place written do not record. You know your right or?
“You don’t have the skin colour for that.. You have the wrong skin colour. Black means con woman, and a thug,” Kibee quipped on his popular Youtube channel.
He went on to opine that only whites can be allowed to record anything anywhere at anytime especially in Africa countries.
