Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has eaten a humble pie just a day after he was stripped off Human Resource role at the Education docket.

Reacting to the Friday November 13 move by Public Service Commission PSC to degrade him from the position which has since been passed to his junior PS Belio Kipsang, Magoha noted that no man was perfect.

Education cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha.

Speaking while presiding over a project in Yumbisye Secondary School in Kitui Central last Friday November 13, the boastful CS confessed his ignorance saying just like the rest, he was also not perfect.

“I would like to state without any fear of contradiction that in my life, which is not very young and not very old, I have learned that nobody is perfect.”

“If anybody has seen a perfect person, you should tell me that person.”

“What drives me is practicing Christianity,” the CS stated.

He however took the chance to ask all public servants to make sure they perform well whatever duties conferred to them. He added that salaries which are paid to government officials must be justified through hard work and work on the ground.

Magoha further advised that it was wrong for someone who was being paid through tax payers money to wait for supervision to be able to deliver obvious duties.

“What I want to tell you and those who have seen us elsewhere is that if you have a job to do please ensure that you do it and you do it in a timely manner.”

“Once you have done your best leave the rest to God,” Magoha noted in a tone that looked like he was now remorseful of his recent unbecoming actions.

He was saying this after rumour had it that President Uhuru Kenyatta was not impressed by his conduct and could be punished severely for that.
