Member of Parliament for Matungu Constituency Justus Murunga Makokha is dead.
According to news reaching this desk, Murunga allegedly succumbed to the deadly Covid-19 virus while undergoing treatment at Mumias St. Mary’s Hospital in Kakamega County.


Citizen Tv 9PM news broke out the saddening news but could not divulge more on the cause of his death.
The first term Lawmaker who was elected on Amani National Congress ANC Party which is led by Musalia Mudavadi has been so close to Deputy President William Ruto and hardly does he miss his public rallies.
The vocal MP was also part of the politicians who were linked to the spate of insecurities in their area Matungu leading to several high profile arrests before they were later freed.
Murunga had to present himself to the police who had alkready launched a man hunt against him alongside other area politicians.

Murunga, who three weeks ago hosted DP William Ruto in his area, according to well placed sources, has been in hospital for two weeks.
