Youthful Satarehe Member of Parliament Charles Njaguar Kanyi or musician Jaguar has allegedly ditched William Ruto’s Tangatanga wing and joined the Kieleweke group.
It shocked everyone to see the MP who has all along been a diehard member of DP William Ruto attend a Raila Odinga initiative in Nairobi on Wednesday October 7th.
The meeting dubbed the Building Bridges Initiative BBI which is a joint project of ODMs Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta took place in Nairobi’s Serena Hotel and saw several leaders participate.
Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili or Babu Owino, while speaking on the meeting, confirmed that there was a meeting which was followed by a press briefing.
Also present was Nominated MP Maina Kamanda who led the brigade in condemning the ugly scenes that took place in Murang’a last Sunday.
Jaguar who was given an opportunity to speak during the presser, said many youths were being used by politicians for wrong reasons and it was now time to address the situation which they don’t want it to escalate as 2022 nears.
“We held a meeting as Nairobi leaders to address challenges that our youth are facing countrywide so that they are not used to cause chaos,” stated Jaguar.
MP Kamanda, on his part, appeared to accuse the DP of funding goons who were seen in Murang’a County causing chaos that ended up claiming lives of two young men.
“We want to warn those people that never again should you use our Nairobi Boys to go and terrorise other people in any part of this country,” Kamanda cautioned.
Jaguar and Owino have never been seeing eye to eye since their election to the parliament and it will be interesting to see them now commit to work together by putting aside their extreme political stands.
