Body of the late Matungu MP Justus Murunga has arrived in Lugari, Western Kenya today on Saturday December 5th.
His body touched down at Savala area in Lugari through DP William Ruto’s chopper and was received by fellow leaders among them Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula.


The late legislator succumbed to Covid-19 virus on November 14th while at his home in Kakamega County with attempts to save him failing. He would later be pronounced dead while undergoing treatment at St. Mary’s Hospital in Mumias.
The lifeless body would later be airlifted to Nairobi’s Lee Funeral Home where he has been lying until Saturday December 5th.
Media reports claimed that he is set to be buried at his 1st wife Matungu Village home in Mumias Kakamega County despite burial having been earlier interrupted by his other two wives who demanded involvement and recognition.
