Machakos Governor Dr. Afred Mutua has joined Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi in slamming Deputy President William Ruto.

    DP William Samoei Ruto.

This is after the Deputy President today December 2nd continued calling for further consensus on the BBI Report.

And reacting on Ruto’s ceaseless calls for a consensus before the real voting process, Mutua noted with concern that what the anti-BBI brigade was doing is to try hard so that to interfere with the whole BBI document with an aim of escaping arrests when it is finally implemented due to their corrupt dealing.

“Those against the BBI are afraid of being exposed for the corrupt and lazy leaders they are, using delaying tactics like threats of court petitions, rather than allow the Kenyan people to either vote for or against the proposed amendments during the referendum,” said Dr. Mutua.

Today Wednesday December 2nd morning, Deputy President William Ruto hosted a number of MPs at his Karen Nairobi home where he would later issue an official stand on what they still think about the Building Bridges Initiative BBI project.

He said it was wrong for some individuals to push for a contested referendum when it was still possible to sit down and deliberate more on it.
