Five Kenyans have gone to court to stop both Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s building Bridges Initiative BBI.

The five petitioners led by top Economist David Ndii and through Law Society of Kenya LSK president Nelson Havi, reasoned through their court papers that the vague BBI agenda was not economical for this country at the moment.

    Economist David Ndii.

The five quickly want their case heard under a certificate of agency and that this should be heard by not less three judges that must be selected by Chief Justice David Maraga.

In the respondent are listed the Independent Electoral and boundaries Commission IEBC, National Assembly Speaker Justine Muturi, his Senate counterpart Kenneth Lusaka and the Attorney General Mr. Paul Kihara.

The petition also has other Kenyans of interest namely Seii Jerotich, James Ngodi, Wanjiku Gikonyo and Ikal Angelei all who want the BBI process challenged this early before it is brought out to the people arguing it was faulty from onset.

But even as this goes on, some legal minds have argued that it will not be possible to challenge a process or a document whose contents no one even the courts knows about and that until it is fully brought out that it will be possible for descending voices to file anything against it.
