Wednesday, March 10, 2021 -Raila Odinga’s elder brother Oburu Oginga has finally addressed the rumours doing rounds that Raila was badly sick and admitted.
Speaking to journalist today Wednesday March 10, Oburu confirmed that his younger brother was in bed but not as serious as it is being peddled out there.
He clarified that Mr. Odinga was to undergo a routine checkup after his gruesome Mombasa BBI tour that saw him traverse the county popularizing the Building Bridges Initiative to his supporters.
“There is nothing serious about Raila’s admission to hospital. He has general fatigue and some joint paints. There is nothing to be sad about, sickness is a normal thing,” Oburu said.
Kenyans from all sections have been speculating too much about his whereabouts some linking his health situation to Covid-19.
Oburu has however said his brother only suffered general fatigue and joint pains hence need to check into hospital.
On June 21, last year, the former Prime Minister was flown to a Dubai based Germany facility for treatment where he underwent minor surgery.
He would take a full month recuperating there as Kenyans continued speculating on his health stability.
Oburu, who makes family key spokesman, however asked their supporters not to read too much into his brother’s tour to Dubai saying everything was under control.
