Tuesday, November 1, 2022 –Police have weighed in on the shooting of the fast-paced Rapper Kirshnik Khari Ball, known as Takeoff in Houston downtown.
In a preliminary statement from the authorities, the victim was identified as a ‘Black male in his twenties’ and was shot during a private party at a Bowling alley.
Washington Post, reported that the fatal shooting took place at 2:40AM leaving the Migos rapper bleeding on the ground.
In another news outlet from the US, it was confirmed that the victim was with his colleague, Quavo, who is also a rapper with Migos hip hop trio.
Their third member Offset was yet to speak anything and it is not clear whether he was also present at the scene or not.
After the early Tuesday November 1 fatal shooting, police would respond by showing up at the scene – downtown Houston – where they found one man already dead.
“Two other victims were “taken in private vehicles to hospitals,” the police report also added.
The publication indicated that there wasn’t any response from Migos representative when reached for a comment on Tuesday.
Migos hip hop trio group which started in 2013 rose to fame in Summer 2013 through their musical work Versace.
Also their work Bad and Boujee in which they featured rapper Lil Vert went straight to the top of the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in the year 2017.
This would see the group’s single quickly become Number one in America.
