Monday, May 1, 2023 –Opposition leader Raila Odinga has announced that their Tuesday demonstrations will start at exactly 6AM, tomorrow.

Addressing from Nairobi today Monday May 1, the opposition leader said he will be taking his supporters on the streets after failed attempts to secure meaningful talks with the government.

The ODM Party leader assured all security agencies of a peaceful march around the city; saying rumours of destruction of properties were a creation of their detractors.

“We assure Mr. Ruto that there will be no destruction of people’s property during our peaceful protests tomorrow. There are no businesses along the streets we are intending to hold our demonstrations tomorrow,” he announced.

And poking holes into William Ruto’s style of leadership and governance, Mr. Odinga wondered why the head of State was going against the Constitution when dealing with death cases.

“The concept of a judicial commission of inquiry appointed by a President has been unconstitutional in Kenya since the 2010 constitution,” he posed.

He said the Shakahola massacre is part of the results of fraudulent Bible-wielding leaders who have been using the Word of God to confuse the country.

“Ruto & his family claimed to have prayed for impure borehole water and turned into clean drinking water. The claim is not different from claims made by cult pastors performing fake miracles and extorting money from believers,” Raila Odinga noted further.
