Friday, April 28, 2023 -Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has pointed out how the current government cannot honestly fight leaders of christian cults in the country.
Addressing at Kamukunji Grounds in Kibra today Friday April 28 following his return from Dubai trip where he has been for about five days, the opposition boss said both President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua cannot hoodwink the country that their government is against cults and cult masterminds.

Odinga alleged that leaders of cult religions in the country are residing in the State house because that is where regular prayers take place
To support his claims, Odinga stated that Gachagua’s wife has been spotted, not once, with the said cult church leaders.
“All prayers at the Statehouse are attended by these church leaders.
“Even when they were at Nyayo praying for the rains, Mackenzie and Ezekiel were both there,” Odinga further claimed.
He, therefore, added that fighting Mr. Paul Mackenzie and Ezekiel Odero was a plot to avoid punishing the real culprits who can be found in top government offices.
The Azimio leader reminded both Ruto and Gachagua of the day they attacked Mama Ida when she attempted to propose regulation of churches in the Country.
He, therefore, wondered who between him and the two top government officials worship the true God.
“Looking at the unfolding in the country, who now between me and them is a true Christian,” he posed amid a standing ovation.
Odinga’s claims are coming just days after DP Rigathi Gachagua and his wife Dorcas separately warned authorities and Kenyans against blanket condemnation of places of worship.
On his part, Ruto urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI to start processing the cult preachers and charge them with crimes of terrorism.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki would shortly emerge with a promise to charge the rogue pastors with genocide.
So far in the ongoing exhumation exercise, 103 bodies have since been recovered from Shakahola Forest where Mr. Mackenzie operated from.
