Saturday, May 6, 2023 -Raila Amollo Odinga today, at 4PM, paid a visit to embattled Kilifi Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Center and Church.
Mr. Odinga arrived at Ezekiel’s home at Mavueni accompanied by area governor Gideon Mung’aro and other allied politicians.

On arrival, the opposition leader was taken round the multi-million church estate before sharing a meal at Ezekiel’s mansion.
Raila used the opportunity to warn President William Ruto of consequences should he not withdraw the recently constituted Commission of Inquiry that is supposed to look into the allagations of massive deaths in Shakahola.
“President doesn’t have an idea on what he is supposed to do and what the law prohibits.
“The promulgated Constitution 2010 doesn’t give any powers to the President to come up with Commissions,” he stated.
Odinga then said he will take the matter to courts so that President Ruto is put to task over the move.

Ruto, a few days ago, named a group of persons led by Lady Justice Jessie Lessit to dig deeper into the Shakahola massacre issue where over 110 bodies have since been retrieved.
Any recommendation from the exercise, the head of State confirmed, will be taken serious so that those found culpable are prosecuted.
