Friday, April 21, 2023 –Popular City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has intensified his friendship with the new regime of President William Ruto.
On Thursday April 20, the renowned lawyer was invited at the Statehouse where he met President William Ruto to and renew their friendship.
In a statement, Kipkorir said he was invited by the President to visit him.
“I was given delicious short ribs without wine! It was a humbling experience meeting the President and repairing our friendship,” Kipkorir said.
Interestingly, he is among the top lawyers in the country who drummed up support for Azimio leader Raila Odinga during ahead of the August polls.
In their meeting with Ruto at the Statehous, the duo reminisced on their friendship that stretches back to 1992.
“I was given delicious short ribs without wine! It was a humbling experience meeting the President and repairing our friendship,” Kipkorir said.
The lawyer added that Ruto inquired more about his ailing mother and the situation of his home village, Cheptonge.
Among a few other allies who have since left Raila for Ruto include former aide Sials Jakakimba and blogger Lord Abraham Mutai.
