Thursday, October 13, 2022 –Azimio la Umoja coalition boss Raila Odinga has told Kenyans not expect anything good from the current Kenya Kwanza government even after the lapse of 100 days.

Hinting at a possible revolution against the William Ruto-led government on Tuesday October 11, Odinga said the regime was already failing at delivering on the easiest promises it made during its heavily charged up campaigns where Ruto pledged to turn around lives of all poor struggling citizens in the country within just 100 days of taking power.

The ODM Party leader who was speaking at the historic Jevanjee Gardens Nairobi in a Bunge la Mwananchi governance function further cautioned that the country was headed to an economically worse situation in the hands of President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua.

He added that Ruto and Gachagua will struggle in running this government and this will soon remain a great shock to as many Kenyans as possible.

The opposition leader charged that both Ruto and Gachagua do not understand what running a government should look like and that this is soon going to publicly play out.

Raila said that the current regime is almost getting cornered with their false promises and that soon it may lack who to blame after being obsessed with Uhuru who, luckily, is off the scene.

“We will give them 100 days and wait and see what they will do. They used to blame Uhuru, and yet the former president was facing the same challenges as world leaders.

“These challenges are the reasons why Uhuru had so many subsidies. They have removed them saying it will be unsustainable,” Raila stated.

He was speaking this while accompanied by ODM MPs Babu Owino of Embakasi East, Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o from Lang’ata and Caleb Hamisi of Saboti, who echoed his sentiments.
