Tuesday, May 23, 2023 –President William Ruto has nominated Mrs Mary Wanyonyi as the Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation CRA.
President Ruto noted that Wanyonyi’s academic and professional level allowed her to take over the CRA office.


Chebukati’s wife was nominated from a pool of three names that included Thomas Ludindi Mwadeghu and Felicity Nkirote Biriri.
“The Head of State has pursuant to Article 215 (2)(a) of the Constitution nominated CPA Mary A.C. Wanyonyi for appointment as the Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA),” the statement read partly.
Wanyonyi is a Certified Accountant and a Certified Mediator who also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
Ruto’s appointment statement indicated that the nominee has had a stellar career in accounting spanning over three decades.


Homenews.co.ke has also learnt that the head of State nominated Dr Phyllis Wambui Wagacha as a member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) to represent the Public Service Commission PSC.
This nomination came as a result of a resignation by Dalmas Otieno who left to vie in the August 2022 elections.
