Thursday, May 18, 2023 –Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has laughed off recent poll results conducted by Politrack Africa showing best performing Members of Parliament MPs.
In a social media rant seen by Homenews.co.ke on Thursday May 18, a visibly angry Salasya described the results as ‘fake and sponsored’ by political failures who have done completely nothing for their people.
In the research findings, MPs Ndindi Nyoro(Kiharu), Paul Ongili or Babu Owino(Embakasi East) and Didmus Barasa(Kimilili Constituency) are listed as top three, in that order.
“We understand this scam. Bring auditors report to show how you used public funds. I myself have issued Bursaries on over 7000 needy cases. I have also donated food and buildings to suffering cases in my area. I have done all that is required including renovations.
“All roads of 22 percent, 10 percent have been completed. This time no drama we know these polls very well. Hapo kwa president we are together. Let’s meet in 2042,” he cautioned.
Salasya went on to claim that the top listed MPs had delivered nothing to the people they represent and had resorted to sponsoring fake pollsters to list them top.
“Babu Owino, so far you have done totally nothing other than sponsoring this politrack. You lie to people you constructed tarmac roads… tell us in which budget an MP with a budget of 137M can construct a tarmac Road? Tukutane 2042 for real politics nitakunyorosha,” he threatened.
He also singled out MP Didmus Baraza of Kimilili Constituency whom he reminded that the work of an MP is also to oversight the national government where he(Barasa of UDA Party) had failed terribly.
The vocal first time lawmaker for Mumias East added that he(Salalasya) had tried as much as possible to touch on every aspect of leadership as his job description requires.
After the recent poll, Babu Owino declared a war of performance against the Kiharu Member of the National Assembly Hon Ndindi Nyoro whom he promised to beat next time.
“It’s a great honor to be ranked number 2 in the whole country in terms of my work in Embakasi East Republic.Lakini huyu Ndindi Nyoro lazima nimshinde next time,” he reacted.
The Kiharu lawmaker has always been ranked among, if not the best performing MPs, when it comes to utilising the CDF kitty to carry out development projects.
In the latest poll ranking of Kenyan legislators in their own various constituencies, Hon Nyoro came top followed by Babu Owino.
