Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga has today announced the official closure of Building Bridges Signature collection drive.


Receiving over 5.2 million signatures in an event held at Daraja House, Mr. Odinga thanked all Kenyans for turning up in large numbers within a very short time to support the cause that will help bring a fresh breath into the country.
Reacting on the news, BBI Signature Collection Co-chairman Junet mohammed who attended the event confirmed that they had received over 5 million signs.
“Welcoming Rt. Hon. PM @RailaOdinga at Daraja House to receive over 5 million national signatures of the people of Kenya who are ready to move our country forward,” he tweeted.
He added that no amount of noise would stop the process which every Kenyan was interested in and urged whoever still thinks what they were doing was wrong to launch an alternative solution and bring it on.
“Safari ya mamba kuna kenge, lazima utasikia wengine wakipiga kelele, sisi hatuangalii nyuma…wewe pia unaweza leta amendment yako na wananchi waamue…hii ni ya wenyewe…mlio wa chura haiwezi zuia ng’ombe kunywa maji,” he stated.

This far, BBI Signature Forms will have to undergo a quick verification exercise at the IEBC before being given a green-light.
