Monday, February 1, 2021 -President Uhuru Kenyatta has continued with his charm offensive meetings against his deputy William Ruto.
In his latest bold statement against Ruto at Sagana State Lodge, Uhuru who is chairing several meetings with his Mt. Kenya backyard leaders warned them that trusting in Ruto’s presidency was like putting a noose around their own necks.
He termed Ruto’s type of politics as not only deceitful but also vengeful and if allowed to continue, this country may ‘burn’.
He wondered how someone can claim that the Building Bridges Initiative BBI was purely customized for Raila Odinga.
“It has been claimed that BBI is meant to help Raila.
“What help does Raila want?
“Someone who is almost 76 years old.
“You claim this document is for Raila, which ward does he represent in Ruiru?
“If more money is allocated to Ruiru, will it benefit Raila or the people of Ruiru? That is nonsense,” Uhuru boldly asserted.
He also took issue with the DPs wheelbarrow and Hustler Narrative which he said was a ‘classic class war’ against those trying hard to earn their genuine living through hard work.
Ruto who is riding on the Hustlers Gospel is upbeat to take power from the Dynasties whom he has continuously faulted for controlling where power goes and who should have it for how long as if it was their personal property.
