Sunday, May 14, 2023 –A new technology posho mill has been invented on the market now retailing at approximately sh 13,000.
This will be better replacement of the traditional iconic posho mill, normally associated with the rural setting.
The new house hold machine size of a cooker was first seen on Amazon platform where it is already selling under the brand name Newtry Grain Grinder at sh 18,706. In Kenya, physical shops are selling it at between sh 13,000 and sh 20,000.
“I am buying this one! hii nayo nanunua, unga instant! Hakuna sasa kutumana unga kutoka ocha! Will ths replace the traditional posho Mills?” Gospel singer Daddy Owen captioned a video showing the machine at work.
Our cross check on the new electronic kitchen device established that the grinder is cost-efficient as compared to a traditional posho mill that costs around sh 5 0,000 and can go up to sh 100,000 depending on the brand.
Kenyans who saw the new machine thought that it is a better version since most of the youth fear going to the traditional posho mill due to ego.
“With innovation and technology, anything is possible. That machine, which once dotted our landscape, defined our traditional setups, and symbolized human pride, has, conveniently, now found its way into the kitchen,” first user commented.
Another user by the name Denis Francis Adudu said this seem to be the best post of the day after he stumbled on the machine online.
Luckily, the machine can be found both online as well as in physical shops in major towns around the country.
