Friday, March 12, 2021 – Suba North Member of Parliament John Mbadi has said their Party leader was ready for any form of betrayal.

Reacting to news about Handshake wrangles, Mbadi mentioned that as far as he is aware, Uhuru and Raila had a good intention but shall their relations fall part as speculated, then ODM will continue to chnat their won way ebacuse they are immune to such.

“Mt Kenya will play a key role in the succession politics. But we are already immune to emotions and politics of betrayal. Uhuru needs Raila for the handshake objectives to come true,” said Mbadi.

Answering sentiments by Kuria that Kenya must be prepared to experience the fall of the Handshake, Mbadi noted that nothing will be new about that because their relationship was pegged on political foundation which can turn true or false.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga(addressing) with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“There should be no panic. Betrayal is part of politics and it depends on circumstances, politics and interests. The handshake gave Uhuru the calm to rule the country,” he was quoted by The Standard.

He added that the success or the failure of the Handshake purely depended on the two men who shook hands and not any other.

Mbadi’s sentiments are coming just a day after his party member Siaya Senator James Orengo fired the first warning shot at a cabal at Harambee House busy with destroying Raila’s political career.
