Thursday, January 14, 2021 -Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has decided to face DP William Ruto with hard truth.
The Wiper Party leader, opened apolitical fire against Ruto whom he claimed had demonstrated a lot of trouble while serving in the Jubilee Government.
Musyoka who was speaking yesterday Wednesday January 13 disclosed how William Ruto was hell-bent of stopping any attempts by Uhuru to appoint someone from outside Jubilee Party and instead brought in his own Kalenjins.
In a blow by blow account of the ills Ruto has committed to the people of these country, Mr. Kalonzo who refused to mince words for the first time called Ruto ‘a tribalist and deceitful leader.
According to Musyoka, Ruto likes portraying himself as a patriot fighting for Kenyans when in real sense he was hell bent on making sure he amasses both power and money to his region.
The Wiper leader further recounted how Ruto stopped his Wiper man from being offered a chance to serve in Jubilee Government.
He cited former Health Cabinet Secretary Cleopa Mailu whom he said was sacked after Ruto had piled pressure at Mr. Kenyatta to remove him from office.
“Even Ambassador Mailu would be a minister today.
“I followed that story very closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta and I was told he [Uhuru] had no problem with Mailu but Ruto.
“He would have continued as a minister,” Kalonzo stated.
That due to the ouster of Mailu, the whole Kamba land has no Kamba person serving in the position of the cabinet Minister making Kalonzo to look like a weak leader.
Kalonzo’s sentiments comes at the backdrop of a heated debate on Uhuru Kenyatta’s rotational presidency remarks.
